Reduce No-Shows With Patient Reminders

CFO Sheri Allgeier shares how using Patient Reminders has reduced no-shows.

My name is Sheri Allgeier. I'm the CFO for Sound Health Services. Our practice is an otolaryngology — ear, nose and throat practice. We specialize in allergy, audiology, head and neck, and anything ear, nose and throat related. We have close to 30 providers, including mid-levels and audiology.   For patient reminders, it has helped keep our no-show level a lot lower than what we were prior to using our reminder system. So the ability to remind our patients five days out, three days out until they confirm has helped reduce the number. We've been able to keep our physicians’ schedules full and get those slots filled as those patients decide to cancel for any particular reason. And we've been able to reduce the overall no-show related to that.
