My name is Abby Jugovich. I am the director of clinical applications at the Steadman Clinic in Vail Colorado and I’ve been there for just about coming up on three years. We are a national Olympic provider. So we see patients from all over the country as well as all over the world. Modernizing Medicine supported us tremendously during our implementation.
We were coming up on an Olympic year. We did our vendor analysis in July. We executed a contract in August. We did our training in September. And we went live in October so we had a recipe for disaster. And it wasn’t. We survived and it went really well and I think the only reason why it went so well is because the trainers, and the implementation was great. I’ve done a lot of implementations over the last ten years in my career and never have I walked away saying “piece of cake.” It just doesn’t happen.
But what I did walk away from with this implementation was “wow that was amazing. And that staff was knowledgeable and they were dedicated and they left with a smile on their face and they answered our questions and they handled all of the stress that comes with an implementation.” It was really impressive. The trainers that are part of Modernizing Medicine are by far the best part or Modernizing Medicine and I say that wholeheartedly. They were the backbone of our implementation and I cannot say enough about them.
