Dr. Amy Witt Continues to Treat Patients during COVID-19 with ModMed Telehealth

My name is Doctor Witt, Amy Witt, and I own the practice Derrow Dermatology. I opened the practice in December of 2008 and have been using Modmed, EMA, for our EMR system since 2014. I’ve always liked EMA just as a EMR system, like it was a clear choice, you know, for in my mind, for my practice and patients. And it always cut down on the work compared to paper charts and other EMR systems.

But I think during this crisis, the company has made a really a lot of nice strides to help with the billing process, to help answer questions, to help streamline the process as much as possible. We’ve had a great experience using the Modmed Telehealth during the COVID crisis. We were super excited to be able to have the visual video capability. It’s really nice because you have that continuity of care still and that familiar face if they are an established patient. It is offering a great service to patients during this crazy time.
