Billing Administrator Susan Miller describes how clinical and admin staffs at her ENT, dermatology and plastic surgery offices benefit from all-in-one software.

 I am Susan Miller. I'm the billing administrator for North Florida Center for Otolaryngology. We have three offices, an Ear, Nose and Throat office, Derm office and facial plastic surgery. We started with ModMed on the clinical side. Our physicians used it to document the visits and we had another billing software. We decided we wanted everything to be in one system and ModMed offered the best combination of everything. And it has really helped in the billing department because I don't have to look for anything like it's all right there in one system. The doctors love it because when they ask me a question, we're in the same system and I can see what they see billing and the front desk work hand in hand. ModMed made it easy for the front desk to know if a patient has a balance when they call for an appointment. They can see it and they can say, Did you know you had a balance? So they're not surprised when they get to the office. ModMed has been a very positive  change for our office. We now take not only co-pays but co-insurances because ModMed’s Insurance eligibility actually lets them know this is the coinsurance rate. The quote tool on ModMed is wonderful. They can do the quote right there and it tells them what the patient owes. As long as everything's right on the insurance part. That's one thing that's also helped our income, our cash flow. Getting more money up front.
