How Supportive Software Leads to Operational Efficiencies

My name is Indraneel Chakrabarty. I'm an Advanced Gastroenterologist in Temecula, California. I use all the products in ModMed. It has streamlined quite a bit of our practice. All these different products that ModMed provides allows for more efficiency. We're actually saving in paper not having to print things out. The patients can actually access things through their gPortal. It's been very beneficial in multiple sides of the practice. ModMed Pay has been very helpful with allowing patients to pay directly for their co-pays when they come to our office visit. What I love about it is that it integrates with the practice management side so we can see what they're posting and then what the remaining balance is left. It makes it very easy to streamline because it can be done right there. Having a support team focused on GI or any specialty is very important because every specialty is a little different at how they do things. GI has its own needs and having someone who understands what those needs are by understanding how the practice runs is very key in helping to implement workflow in the EMR for that specialty. I believe gGastro is providing excellent value to our patients, mostly because allowing easy access to records and simplifying the note writing, but also just being able to do e-prescriptions and sending labs to their lab core requests and sending those electronic lab orders just makes it that much easier for the patient.
