Secure Messaging for Patient Engagement
Let patients communicate with your practice in real-time via text with our private, two-way Secure Messaging solution.

You can now give your patients the option of communicating with your practice in real-time via text with Modernizing Medicine’s private, two-way Secure Messaging solution. Here’s how.
First, log in to your practice’s portal for messaging and other patient engagement tools. Once logged in, navigate to the Secure Messaging section, located under Messenger. Search for and select the patient you want to send a Secure Message to. Click to indicate that you want to send a Secure Message, and type your message in the text box. You can also send attachments with your message, including images and medical records. Click the Send button to send the message to the patient. You will be prompted to confirm that the message is for medical communication only.
The message is then sent over to the patient using their phone number on file. The patient can now communicate with you through their phone, just like a text message.
